Born and raised in former communist East Germany, I grew up exploring the world and its natural beauty with my mother's old Praktica film camera. I was twelve when I started taking the camera wherever I went. Here is one of my first shots taken at the lake in my hometown.

Specialized in event photography, I cover everything from conferences, trade shows, corporate events to private events. I love to capture the magic that happens throughout events, from delegates and attendees arriving looking to be inspired and entertained, through making new connections to leaving with new ideas, thoughts and ambitions. Clients include PetValu, CAUT, Sport Tourism Canada, the National Golf Course OwnerAssociation and many more.
I was active on the board of the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) for six years as VP Communications and am highly involved in the events industry. I regularly participate in events organized by the International Live Events Association (ILEA) and am a partner of Tourism Calgary.
I work closely with my clients during exploration sessions that allow us to pinpoint exactly what a successful outcome looks like and to ensure that no moment is missed. During these sessions, I explore the direction the photography should take and where the client sees challenges. Capturing the right energy and mood of the event is my utmost goal. Every event is unique and my pictures show this!
After working in events and marketing for over ten years I decided to follow my lifelong dream of turning photography into a full-time venture. I graduated from the Photography Institute with a Diploma in Photography.
